The 4th Annual Godawari Running Festival was on September 9th, 2017, and the CYF kids were there to participate! In addition to having a full day of fun, friendly competition, and lots of mud... they managed to secure a 3rd Place finish in the Adult category 5K race, and in the Juniors 2K race!
The adult category 5K race and the juniors (under 13-years-old) 2K race are both Yeti Obstacle Races, and the kids had a lot of fun going through the challenges. The Yeti Run is an off-road track that includes a mud crawl, rope climb, a wall, slides, and tyre flips.
The Godawari Running Festival is a family-based event that encourages and active and outdoor lifestyle that was created as a result of outdoor sports promoters and trail running enthusiasts of Nepal. Haushala Creatives was a proud sponsor of this event alongside Red Bull, Suunto, Salomon and many more!
We are so glad that our CYF family was a part of this wonderful event - the kids loved it! It was such a fun day and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would like to thank Paresh Krishna Shrestha and the team for this wonderful opportunity.
