18 OCTOBER
I went to a Rotary meeting with Paula. I was nervous. I talked about my parents, my home (CYF), and my little brothers and sisters.
19 OCTOBER
Our weekend started and I came to Paula’s home.
20 OCTOBER
In the morning we made cookies and we went shopping. I had never had a manicure until today. Thank you so much, Paula, for taking me there. It was new for me and I had fun doing it. In the evening I went to a wedding with Paula. It was also new and different for me. I had fun.
21 OCTOBER
In the morning, my friends and I went to Paula's cabin with Paula and Angela. There was only one guy. It was my first time drinking apple cider. In the evening we all made our own dish. I made chatpate from Nepal. Sam, Sera and Ah-jin made kimchi fried rice with ham and eggs from South Korea. Auyi made gyoza from Japan. In Nepal we call gyoza momo. It was the same. We did henna and watched the movie Mummy. We played a lot of games.
22 OCTOBER
We cleaned our room and and had breakfast. On our way home, we went to take a picture with Paul Bunyan. We went to buy costume for Halloween. It was such a wonderful weekend. I had a lot of fun. Thank you Paula and Angela!
